Yeah that's it. Disclaimer here is that don't do this with overly advanced timing and don't do it in tall gears. A run in 2nd or maybe 3rd under watchful eyes should be safe for a time or two, it is a short run in those gears. Then watch the learning trims to make sure that it didn't change stuff on you.

Every car is a little different, but generally more often than not we make more power at 12.5 than 13 NA. That varies with RPM though.
