That's one benefit of taking the car outside the insurance companies recommended shop...because the idea is that it's in their(your shops) best interest to find every single damaged bolt and bill the insurance. Of course that should apply either way.
Also, at least in Texas, you can insist upon OEM/factory parts whereas most places outside the dealership will use aftermarket parts if available. I believe the dealership will only use OEM, but I could be mistaken on that part.
