They are ordering the new fuel pump and will let me know when it arrives. Geez, shouldn't have to be such a fight to get something taken care of that's under warranty!!

Went thru the same bs. Every damn time I went to the dealer it wouldn't make the noise. I shot video of the noise four times over the course of a couple of months. Was questioned if had tracked the car, if I had modified it, etc. Like you said why the f... would I ask for a damn fuel pump?? At least it sounds like your on the way to getting a new one.
