It has no relationship to MSRP, and no relationship between dealers. Most dealers do sell at MSRP (with add-ons) but nothing stops them from selling above or below MSRP, they just aren't supposed to negotiate away from their posted price for an individual car.

Does that mean ALL the similar optioned cars at THAT dealership will be offered at THEIR price ... no haggle. The point is .... if a certain dealership offered new cars for around 23K (their pure price) .... then most buyers would discover this and buy from them. Curious if their Pure Pricing changes monthly based on demand and supply. When I purchased my new FR-S .... I was under the impression that the dealership is bound by SCION corporate to establish the price at MSRP which at the time was around 25K.
