There is a large R&D process which the Toyota and Subaru would have to go through in order to provide the car with similar dynamics to that of the coupe, which will involve heavily accounting for the increased weight and cost a lot of money. Money, which I severely doubt, would be made up in revenue from sales of that specific variation.

from all the rumors and what not, it says they will just stretch the car by like 3 inches or so. also the 2015 model is said to get a new 2.5 putting out 250hp. one would think this would also be used in the sedan. everyone seems to be acting if toyota would have to some how redesign the whole car from the ground up to make a sedan version. yes they would have to go back to the engineering department but i still dont think it would cost them that much to make a 4 door version.
