Matador, this is a comparison thread. Why would you tell him to go buy the Genesis and stop wasting time when all he's doing is playing Devil's advocate? How are you supposed to have a decent comparison thread without someone playing devil's advocate? You can't, it would just be a thread explaining why the FT86/FRS/BRZ is better than the GC.

There is a sound difference between making a valid comparison and just being an ass. I've watched the site go from potentially being something very cool, to a total and complete bitchfest, compounded by the same old tired argument, over and over again. That's all.
I actually do like the genesis coupe quite a lot. I just think it's too fat. Well, that and the 2013 model has a face only a mother could love..... Anyway I think people will end up comparing and cross shopping them, but people who ultimately drive the Zx6 and ultimately "get it" will buy it.
From a tuners perspective, adding power to an FR-S/BRZ will be probably be more effective that subtracting weight from the GC, at least if you want to keep it civilized looking and steetable. They are really two different answers to what amounts to the same question. Neither are "wrong" but you will have people who will give an A+ to one answer and an F to the other. What else needs to be said?
