Regarding the Perrin tranny mount, would it help if you applied some sorbothane (soft polyurethane) between the tranny and the perrin tranny mount? I always wondered if the metal to metal contact causes the irritating noise that many have complained about. If not sorbothane... perhaps another polyurethane to isolate the metal to metal contact.

It's not from tranny as I found out rather an amplification of the rear diff. Now thing with Perrin T is there is zero extra room in carrier to add anything else to try to tame. With whiteline it doesn't exist so I'm not going to bother to re address exacts on why Perrin transmits more. In regards to adding more mlv etc that would only be effective on portions behind the driver due to how we hear basically.
