The main problem with DashCommand for those that want to track their cars is it does not yet have oil temp despite being requested of the developers since January 2013. They are still "working on it". Here's the thread requesting iphone users put pressure on to have it added http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34247. The thread on the DashCommand forum it links to has lots of promises from them but no action yet.

If you want oil temp I suggest you try EngineLink for iphone https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/engi...le/id591557194

You will need a wifi OBD2 connector rather than a bluetooth one like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/WIFI-ELM327-...-/161145844978

Personally I don't use it as I have an android head unit now running carscope with an HKS OB-LINK to give electronic gauges on my dash but had a mate test EngineLink and he said it worked ok.
