The WR G2 is a decent tire, and leans a little more towards winter use than your average all season tire. They work great on my wife's Acura, but it is all wheel drive. For the FR-S, I'd recommend a full-on ice and snow tire. I have a set of the Blizzak WS-60s (predecessor to the WS-70), and they clawed through some pretty significant snowfalls last year, no sweat.

normancw I have the Magnaflow on my car, and like it. You can definitely hear it, but it is not loud at all. There is no droning on the highway, and it makes nice little burble and grrr sounds when you get off the gas or pull a shift. Sporty, not ricey.
