If the OFT is stuck in a endless calibration request loop, it's because you are probably using your fingers which, if they are like mine, are too dull for calibration purposes. To sort things out, just plug the OFT into your car (unplug from laptop first) and use a stylus to calibrate. That should sort it out. Update: this worked perfectly. And then I finally updated the program, flashed ecu.
No more issues.
The tune is great, most noticeable to me was the mid range rpm improvement

I guess you also recommend popping off the stock front snorkel at the same time?
Does the computer I use to write files to the tablet need to be online while I am writing to the tablet?
