Just an update on this issue that i experienced:
Went to the dealership, confirmed that BIU (computer module) needs to be replaced. THey said its Subaru Canada's call whether to cover it under warranty or not. Sure enough they approved it and replaced my BIU, which required reprogramming of both keys as well and said they are not sure what caused the issue, the LED's or something else, but recommended me to keep stock bulbs. I ordered different LED's that are high quality now and going to replace them this saturday *fingers crossed* that issue doesnt come back.

Wish i knew this earlier..noticed it a day after i picked mine up after BIU being replaced, had to take it back again for them to reset it so DRL's work.
