The AC doesn't really blow cold unless the engine is being revved. There doesn't need to be much revving, but it does need the revs. As far as I know, all of the triplets are like this.

Yeah I remember seeing it on my brother's gt3 and the RPM was high too but look at the red line on a porsche, 8k 9k? I'm sure the cayenne is around 2700 at 87 miles.
