Get off your high horse and find a clue. Our dealers' actions are not grounds for anything. Y'all are acting like we had to sneak around a dimly lit parts warehouse and rob these poor Series 10 owners of parts that are held behind lock and key. NEWSFLASH! The majority of the 86s that roll off the line have these parts installed. What makes your car so special?

I think really the only exclusive parts are the light up badges, interior trim, shift knob, etc.

This hits a nerve...
New 10 Series owners who have paid a $3000 premium for "exclusive" access to special badging, paint color and premium features. 10 Series owners feel betrayed by Toyota/Scion and may believe the value of their purchases are being diminished when the exclusivity implied is eroded. There will be 2500, 10 Series owners
vs.
Early adopters (such as myself) want access to "superior" OEM integrated lighting, HVAC, and entry and starting systems. We feel that we're being unfairly denied access to these parts and connectively we are annoyed we were never given an opportunity to get them as an option or within a "trim" package. There are 22,000+, 2013 FR-S owners.
Put another way this is the "Haves" (the few) vs. the "Have Nots" (the many).
This has never really been much of a rational thread; the reactions to this topic are deeply emotional.
For my part I spent $2000 to get some nifty headlights and to prove that I could do it and in the process got a reminder about human nature.
