You want to avoiding pulling the manifold for numerous reasons.

1. You need replacement, intake manifold gaskets, and throttle body gaskets.
2. You need backup o rings for the port injectors they sheer off/crack easily.
3. You have to remove the injector driver, and plates from both sides of the fuel rails.
4. If its your first time removing it, plan on 3+ hours.
