Ok, I can sympathize on that, but you guys do know that in NA an average car is something in the neighborhood of $28k. So the BRZ Limited (from what we know) would be considered an average car. So...

and the price to replace is another factor although admittedly not as big. by the time the system malfunctions (if it ever does), itll be years down the road when push starts is more common in the market and the prices (hopefully) will be lower.
and lastly some people just prefer a turn key. its like the whole paddle vs stick thing. No matter how much more efficient/convenient/beneficial shift trannies are some people just preffer stick. I admit im biased towards turn key but not simply because of blind ignorance, there are legit reasons to prefer it.
