Are you certain that your ride height settings are consistent side to side? I'm not sure but maybe one side is slightly higher than the other and possibly contributing to the car being off balance under braking? Number of threads used/remaining on the strut collar are a good reference point to check ride height side to side.
Each side measured from center cap to fender measures 14". I did my turns on ride height based on the locking pin.
