Hydrogen?!?!?!?
Pipe dream at best, it isn't an energy source, until we move to something nearly unlimited as our primary energy resource Hydrogen is just a toy waiting in the wings. Sure the sketches for farms out in the ocean converting solar to processed hydrogen are nice ideas but those are a decade away optimistically and you'll be at the mercy of the weather.
If you're talking about fuel cells using some other chemical like home grown alcohol then, yes I fully agree those will be viable alternatives to internal combustion in about 20 years.
edit: and fuel cells only have zero emissions if you discount the manufacture of the fuel cells and the manufacture of the fuel, which I don't see those as being emission free any time soon, considering you'll be tracing back to the refining of silicon, platinum and whatever else is used not to mention what powers all the machinery to make those processes occur.
If you want to veer back on topic don't keep posting arguments, although I do quite enjoy the discussion. I wonder if future generations will lament the lack of noise and character of their fuel cell powered electric sports cars...

I'm at 960 miles and I still have the chirp after a 20+ minute drive. It's not any louder, I'm just wondering who would use 91 free over the 93 with ethanol.

There's no penalty for trying ethanol free, it's unlikely that you'll notice the loss of power so I would do it if the noise bothered me.
