Which is contrary to those claiming a magic fix with even just a couple gallons and only a few miles of driving.
Theory is, ethanol has removed the coating causing the pump to squeak while pressurizing the fuel.. If it is indeed correct, going to ethanol fuel AFTER the crickets are there, does not put the coating back on there fore doesn't really help.. And for what it's worth, people are still waiting for Europe, austrialla, and Japan to report this issue.. Places that do not use ethanol on a wide basis, if at all

Also there was some stations that claim no ethanol in their storage tanks, yet tested for more the. The 10%, and some that had around 5%.. So a good way to see if your deal of choice actually has ethanol in it is sending it off
