If was in a position like CSG Mike and ended up with legal representation, I can guarantee you the legal team would pick apart the claim by Subaru about "Racing" asking them to show in their literature how they define "racing" since they already have wording specifying "Competition events" and they have marketing promoting "track driving". Well, he was track driving the car in a non-competition event. IMHO, Subaru's defense doesn't hold water.
What concerns me is what the ECU is telling them if that is indeed the case. How could the black box know it was a "Competition event"?... It can't.
I'm paying close attention to this. Some neat cars are coming out in the next 3-6 months and I'm not so sure the FRS is going to be worth keeping.
