It isn't everything, but to many people especially in America where aside from routes and backroads the majority of our roads are long straight highway, it's a factor. Once I tore my the mods off my SVT and overtaking someone became an annoyance again it got me thinking. Dropping two gears and flooring it just to slowly creep your way up from 70 to 85 is a little more than annoying.
But as stated, power is a problem that can be remedied after the fact. Then again, so is handling and at a certain point (because we aren't all ballin'ass'rich) you've gotta ask yourself which is more costly. At least that's my dilemma.
Edit: to answer a question earlier, I had a Jackson Racing Supercharger on my SVT before I sold all my mods. (Just the regular JRSC kit, I decided to opt out of the Big Boost Kit for handling reasons)
