I finally decided to register a username after following over 80 pages of news, speculation and witty banter. I left a sizeable deposit in the first few days of April, knew more than my salesperson through the entire process, kept on his ass to make sure he secured an allocation, finally wrote up a bill of sale two weeks ago, and am now (im)patiently awaiting delivery. I've heard everything from "Anytime now!" to "First week of August." Grrrrr.
It's currently on a train making it's way to the Toronto warehouse before the dealership. How much should I be worrying about rail dust? Are there any steps I should inform my dealership to make upon delivery? I want my baby shiny!
Random facts:
A) Took advantage of the grad program.
B) Got hosed into selecting the old Bespoke unit, as I'm in Canada. I'm crossing the border as soon as I can to order in the new 6.1 Touchscreen Bespoke unit.
C) My dealership was mistakenly allocated an Automatic for me, although they were able to secure a 10 Series from another dealership located in the middle of nowhere, who had no idea what "10 Series Trim" meant.
