For the low horn, plug the factory connector into the supertone and add a ground wire with a spade connector and ground to the factory mounting point. Done.
For the high horn, cut off the factory connector and add spade connectors to the ends of the power and ground. Loosen the factory horn bracket and flip it so the horn goes the other way (closer to drivers side). That's it.
One of the horns is still on display which I'm OK with but I painted the "grills" black for stealth factor anyways. In the end, the horns are in the stock location.
Only thing is...I could be wrong but I think the horn will no longer beep when pressing the lock button on the remote 3 times. Doesn't bother me  |
