Thanks Black Tire. I agree with your comment about the design of the hood. I suspect the bulges are exaggerating the relative transient time of air over and under the hood inducing some lift, as they effectively make the front end a cambered aerofoil! If they made the nose flat, like an S2000, there would probably be much less of a problem.
I see also that rene0023 is reaching the same conclusion as me.
