Laika , I had a early 02 WRX which had a stiffer clutch assm than later years. It feels close to that. My father drives a e46 m3. It's a bit less stiff than that.

DO IT!

I search around and could find no reviews of anyone removing the spring. I just did it so I figured I would post.

To me, it now feels like a clutch again. It is stiffer, not too stiff,...
