Yes, but, if you have ramp the angle up too steep then you get flow separation occuring within the diffuser which lowers the effective area of it.

More negative is an option, but it wont help with whats happening. I am not rubbing at the edge of the arch - its the black plastic 'fender liner' that is getting torn to shreds and rubbed away....

The fuel pump will run out before the injectors, I wouldnt really want to go any larger on teh restrictor with the stock fueling set up.
