I drove without mine for 2-3 weeks while I waited for the tow hook mount. Passed multiple cops and didn't get pulled over. I guess it all depends on the cop.

Unfortunately I caught a curb at work. Front made it out fine, but the back caught the curb.

Was only going about 10-15 km/hr as I was pulling out from work, they just put in new larger sized...
