Every time I use the buttons in an attempt to disable the TC I do it at a complete stop as the owners manuals says. I've never attempted it on the move.

I was having luck holding the TC switch for 10 seconds+ and was able to slide the car like I wanted. I had an incident where it tried to swap ends on me and after that it doesn't matter what I do...

when I first got the car I held the traction...

when I first got the car I held the traction button the few seconds described here and it eliminated the tc. Now when I do the same thing it doesn't. Any ideas?
