Toyota is buying mine back too. Check engine light came on 2 weeks after I bought it and they weren’t able to figure out what’s wrong with it. It drives great just they can’t make the light stay off....

It seems like it’s been more than 3 attempts. They already pretty much put a new block and heads. Vvti gears as well. What’s left? Cams, intake, exhaust, ECM?

That’s what I’m goin through right now. Mine has a CEL and Toyota says they can’t fix it. So I’m making them buy it back and give me another one. Mine is a 2017. Doesn’t even have 3500 miles on it...

Finally got the issue fixed. It was the tracking device that the dealership installed. It’s cslled skylink. Had it removed and the CEL turned off. Hopefully it stays off

On Wednesday the dealership I work at are going to check the pistons with a boroscope and also check the valve clearances. Pretty much do what the repair manual says to do when those codes come up....

I bought it brand new. It only had 9 miles when I took delivery of it. So no it hasn’t been modded. The Borla exhaust came from Toyota.
