Noob question 18x9.5

Hello all,

I have a noob question.. I'm going to be ordering 18x9.5 wheels soon.. I don't quite know what I should get. +22 offset or +30.. Mind you the wheels are 5x114.3 and I'm going to be running an 11mm project kics adapter.. Please help a brethren out. Thanks

What you don't list that matters:

Tire size
Fender modifications
Suspension modifications

Given the missing info, there's no way to give you advice. That you didn't think to tell us means you're probably entirely stock, in which case neither of those offsets will come close to fitting. With an 11mm spacer, look for something near +50

You're right, missing a bit. Half asleep at work aha. Current set up is 17x9 +35 tires 235/45. With the 9.5 I was planning on running 245/35 or 40 tires to keep the same diameter ish. Tein basis coils with Beatrush pillow ball mounts and crash bolts. lowered 2" f/r and SPC RLca. Reason I ask is I don't see anywhere people running the 5x114 adapters with 9.5 wheels. And I'm not that intelligent when it comes to offset

Check out willtheyfit.com to compare to your current setup. IMO, neither of those offsets will work with adapters without flares / major fender work or significant camber... but I don't know the limits of the SPC arms you have installed to know if you can make it work or not

do some math.
17x9+35
vs 18x 9.5 +19 (+30-11spacer)
Increase 6.35mm ouside, and 6.35mm inside due to 12.7mm width added(.5inch)
35 offset -19 offset=16mm and 6.35 outside width added= 22.35mm
So you added around 7/8th's or 22.35mm in ouside width.

Go outside and see if you have room for that 22.35mm. You probably don't without 4-5++ degrees of camber.
