I have never messed with car speakers/subwoofers before so excuse my inexperience. Long story short, I was gifted a P300-10 and figured why not install it in the brz.

If I can connect it at the amp, it would be much easier and I wouldn't have to run wires from the hu to the trunk. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121315480698...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |
so, that appears as if it is made to connect to the front.
it might work on the rear as well, but the rears harness is wired .. special.. theres a really good thread on how to use the rear amp harness. a good note for what that's going to do is that it appears like that's going to give you full signal out, which if you feed to a sub amp, you will need to be sure to use the amps onboard crossover. Not precisely a problem, just noting it. I think most people do this by wiring a line out converter to the rear amps wiring harness, however I believe it could also be done with what you have there from the front. |
