4.88 FD problems?

So.. I just past my 500 mile break in mark and changed out the gear oil.

I'd like to note the car is stupidly fast at accelerating now but theres a few things thats starting to happen.

Howling while turning, I posted this in the suspension thread but read everywhere on google that said it could be diff problem.

Air leak sound in the rear when I accelerate past 70 mph.

Downshift rpm increase with no increase in speed unless I put the foot WOT.

Squeaky sound on suspension while accelerating up hill / decelerating down hill.

All of this happened after I drove the car normally after break in period. 4-5k RPM highest shifts and the occassional 6k

Thoughts?

Those symptoms sound like multiple issues. Are you auto or manual? Did you install any bushes or suspension bits at the same time? Are you using the factory LSD center or an aftermarket brand?

Out of all that you said "stupidly fast at accelerating" is the only part I paid attention to. I wish I knew someone close by with a A/T and 4.88
