How to calibrate Throttle position sensor FRS?
ok as the title says. Ive just innstalled Jackson Racing supercharger kit, everything went smooth, all lines and hoses connected properly, ecu calibrated with their tune, but when car starts it dies right after, in order to keep car on i have to keep gas pedal all the way down and even then engine runs rough like its not gettin enough air or gas so it chokes and dies, now since we took air intake off i stuck my hand into the throttle body to clean it, not knowing that it is electronicaly calibrated.
Ive used search here and google, nothing pops up really except throttle body spacers and such. Any help would highly appreciate it. :thanks: |

If you have a MAF sensor extension harness check it plugged in securely double check again for vaccuum or boost leaks. Use you ecutek cable to log and check for ECU error codes |

No catch cans, all hoses and lines secured, don't think there's leaks but I'm ganna double check today again. It did come with map sensor extention and unplugged and replugged everything, still didn't do anything to it. And ecu doesn't have any codes. Look for air leaks. If you don't find anything, take data logs and be sure to get what's going on when the car dies. I suspect a hardware problem/failure, Jackson's tune has been used by a lot of people without issues.

Ok talked to Chris from jackson from what I told him it's vacuum issue. Ganna double check again and hope that's the issue.

Post your MAP at idle from a data log.
There is 1 vacuum line that you can't see. It loves to pop off under boost.. It's the evap purge line, and it's hidden under the intake manifold. Make sure to clamp it in place. From your description, I doubt it's the problem, but it may be related, and if it isn't a problem yet, it will become one as soon as you're on the road. It's the line with the braided cover, it feeds in just below the throttle body. Clamp both ends. Steve already covered the rest of the possible issues, but if there is an air leak, this is as likely a place as any. |
