Street friendly clutches options for boosted car
Looking to switch out the ACT 6 puck I had in the car. Block is being built now, so I'm not sure where I'll end up for torque. I was previously at 330 tq. Need something that will hold ~350 tq+.

I think the act with the upgraded pressure plate setup is rated at well over 400ft lbs if you get that. Other than that im sure folks can chime in, although finding a street friendly one to hold the torque may be a problem depending on what feel you like haha..

I ran a 6 puck N/A and it did great, The wear was increased dramatically but still gave me decent service. When I went F/I I put in a clutch masters twin disc. I ran this clutch setup both N/A and F/I. N/A it was almost impossible to drive, but when I went F/I and had the power it tamed way down a night and day difference. So to get to the point the twin disc is streetable with boost. How long it will last is yet to be seen.

If you want to stick with a pucked clutch, try an 8 puck (ACT should let you choose on their website. Clutchmasters does the same thing). Closer to OEM grab but still good enough to hold that force.
