Please help, iJDM 4th Brake Light w/ strobe :(

Hi, I am a complete noob at wiring things. Looked at multiple DIY 4th brake light installs, but still confused. Has anyone done this specific one?

I looked at the iJDM install instructions ( http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Scion-FR-S-...tion-a/572.htm ), and it said to

Locate two specific wires; tail light mode and a brake light mode wires

and I found a site ( http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10816 ) that I believe is what I need to tap it into.

I ran the (+) wire from each 194 bulb to the driver side tail light harness. The green wire is the regular tail light. The red wire is the brake light. The ground wires went to the OEM ground location in the trunk.

I am confused because I have three wires. Pictures below...
I also found this link http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43087
http://www.mediafire.com/view/2bpjiu..._Taillight.pdf
Did I wire it right? Is the last one a ground? Where can I tap those three wires into? Visuals would help me most, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Its really simple. Red wire on the strobe goes to your brake light when the brake is being depressed. Black wire connect to strobe goes to ground and the last short red wire to your running brake ( the light that stays on ) Flip your headlight controller to the second dial where your running brake light and your front turn signal should turn on.

Go buy yourself some quick splice wire terminal
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1814922...chn=ps&lpid=82
it makes everything alot easier.

let me rephrase everything lol.
Long red wire thats connected to the strobe gets connected to the red wire.( on when brake is depressed.)
Long black wire thats connected to the strobe gets to be grounded. ( ground it as seen on picture. https://www.google.com/search?q=frs+...-XhiKdUzkQM%3A)
short red wire gets connected to green wire. (regular/always on when headlight is on)

if you need more help let me know. The wiring color on my brz is alot different so i can't be exact. It shouldnt be very hard. just tap on any of the color wires and depress the brakes. if your fourth brake signal strobes then that means you wired it right.

nvm figured it out!

*edit with pictures for people that may run into this problem.

tapped into the wires from the diode: FR-S / BRZ Tail as Turn™ +Backup Module. So it is Red and Yellow instead of Red (brake) and Green (tail) from the blue and black wires.

I had this and it worked for a while then it kept giving me abs and traction control lights and a Brake light switch code so i removed it..would love to reinstall but hated that issue.

This shouldnt give you any error codes at all if wired correctly

Wouldn't the codes show up immediately?
