Gear Oil :) Amsoil

Just to confirm, is it good what I am doing?:

for the Manual Transmission I shall go with:
https://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-produ...?code=MTGQT-EA

and for my differential I am good with:
http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-produc...?code=SVGQT-EA

The differential I did not go with the LSD fluid. Am I okay as well?

You've been here long enough to know how to search.

I'm a manual transmission, should I go with this transmission oil change? Or motul? :)

Daily driven :) Canada weather must be considered

Last question for the differential should I go with LSD oils considering our car is a LSD lol?

You are a manual transmission?
Your car is a lsd?

Yes, shall I buy this for both differential and transmission?

Did you read the manual? Or search?
Joking aside its up to you. Asking which brand is like asking what kind of underwear you should buy. Lots of people will tell you to wear a g-string others will tell you to stay with boxers. In the end it's your call.

Hahaha, :)
I just went with Amsoil non lsd.

Yeah. All those oils are far better than the OEM stuff. Me personally I go with Redline oil. Only because I can get them cheaper at local auto parts store.

I wouldn't use Severe Gear in the transmission. It will be fine for the rear end though. If you want to use an Amsoil 75W90 in the trans, this is the one to use...

I would recommend Motul 300, if nothing else the bottle nozzle will make it as easy as changing your engine oil.

Just remember that when the transmission (and the car) is cold, you'll have to coast really slowly and double clutch to go to second gear, and that will be with any oil.

You could also check out Millers Oil EE Transmission 75w90 oil.

^ Short shifter makes this even harder fucking 2nd gear lol

MisterSheep 11-10-2015 07:04 PM

Motul 300 gear oil is great because you can buy 4 bottles of it and use it for both the Trans and Diff fluid change. Got mine switched when I got my 30k service done.

Just saying I wouldn't do it myself...the EP additives that make it a good differential lube may not be good for the transmission.
