Rattle-ly Speaker Door Panels
I know that some other members have experienced this as well and based on some other posts it appears that in order to reach the speaker panel, you need to remove the door card. My only question is whether there are any bolts that need to be removed prior to removing the door card or are they all clips?
Any info would be greatly appreciated and I will probably be fixing this problem next week. |
Second this ^^
Took car to dealership and they did nothing about it. Just need to know how to take door panel off myself to insulate the area between speaker and grill. |

The reason: Turned the bass up. Put my finger on the speaker panel that I think was rattling, and it went away. In order to reach the speaker panel though, it appears that you need to take off the whole door card. |
Yeah, it is definitely coming from speaker panel.

I've got the rattle on both door panels, but haven't really investigated it. Ill check tonight if it is the window switch or speaker panel.

Well, i was thinking fwk blown already as well until i read this thread and put my finger on the window switch panel. Def the window switch panel on my car too.

carbonBLUE is right. After further investigation, the rattle is coming from the window switch panel. If you press down on it right next to the mirror adjustment knob the noise stops.
So, next question. How do I get the door panel off so I can dynomat it? I am newbie so anyone who wants to post some DIY pics would be much appreciated! |
Yea it's pretty annoying little switch ain't it.
|
