Cat broken apart

I have the Borla UEL header and berk muffler delete. the rest of the exhaust is stock. I have a terrible rattle from the front pipe and im 99% sure it is the cat converter. I guess the higher flowing and hotter exhaust from the header has destroyed it. But the car is dyno tuned to these exact mods. If i get a hi flow cat front pipe will i have to retune the car? If so im just gonna get another stock front pipe. Thanks

yep cats been known to disintergrate on cars tracked hard.

hi-flow cat front pipe change wont require re-tune, the aftermarket metalised cats probably tougher than the stock ceramic ones hopefully.

I would check to make sure nothing is rubbing first (especially a heat shield) before assuming it's the cat.

No re-tune needed for an aftermarket front pipe, and I would suggest getting one if you're replacing it already. The stock one is the 2nd biggest restriction (after the header) in the stock exhaust.

Thanks guys. thats good to hear. Yea heat shields are completely off the car. wanted to rule that out first.
