HID issue (solved, defective bulb)

***SOLVED!***

I have Innovited 55w AC HID conversion kit with relay harness. Relay is tested and functioning properly. Ground and battery connections were checked and good. Car is 2016 with less than 5000 miles. Battery and alternator are good. Innovited has given me beyond top notch response times and customer service. Every part has been replaced by them with everything arriving next day and well packaged/in good condition. I am not questioning the quality of their product. I am lost why the car is doing this.

The issue:

Both headlights turn on and warm up fine
After some time the left side (driver's side) turns off
If I turn the lights off and back on it will come on again
(And repeat process)

Video I made demonstrating the issue:

Please help, this is embarrassing and unsafe

Thank you!!

Hmm strange. My guess would have to be the ballast. My ballast have their own ground as well as the ground for the harness. So in all my HID kit has 3 grounds. 1 main one and each ballast has there own. But I'm following because I'm curious to know as well lol. Btw my HID kit is from diode dynamics and has been good to me so far.

probably a bad ballast or bulb. it's definitely not your car causing the problem, especially if you're tapping the ballast power directly from the battery. did you already swap with your replacement? check your grounds and double check your connections. then after that, it is time to trouble shoot. swap your left and right ballasts and see if it's the same side that goes out. if it is, then it is your bulb. if it changes sides, then it's the ballast

Diode dynamics are really great, my LEDs are from them. Other people run these without issue. They don't have an extra ground like yours, so I tried mounting the ballasts to the chassis as I'm not trying to open these up and do some custom wiring. It didn't change anything, I didn't expect it to. But it was worth a shot.
I definitely appreciate your suggestion!

The ballast was ruled out as this only happens on the left side with all the ballasts Innovited has sent me, with and without using the relay harness
Is your Diode Dynamics kit AC or DC? Are you running a relay harness? And are you using a resistor?

I don't think it's the car either. I've lost count of how many times I've checked and reinstalled everything.
However I just realized I haven't tested the bulbs. I'm about to swap the bulbs now. Could it be a bad bulb?

Problem solved!! It's a defective bulb! Should get a new one from Innovited tomorrow
Thank you for your help guys!!
