OpenFlash Tablet: OTS v2.069 released (FFS/LC for F00C roms)

Hi guys,
New OTS map folder has just been released and is now available to download HERE

Please read the change log in the included Release Notes file. It says:

9/22/15
v2.069
-Added Flat-foot-Shift (FFS) and Launch Control (LC) functionality to all 6MT F00C ROMs.
-Added revised XML file (with FFS and LC defined) for F00C Calibration ID.

This means that the ONLY change we made was to add FFS and LC to F00C ROMS and revised the F00C XML file accordingly (courtesy of Td-d). Tuning has not changed. So unless you have a F00C ROM, this update is of no relevance to you

Again, be sure to only use the new XML on the new ROMS with the LC/FFS coded added. Do NOT use it with older F00C ROMs. If you try to adjust LC/FFS settings on older F00C ROMs without FFS/LC code, you will brick your ECU.

One way to making sure that you are using the correct ROM is to view the default data for Launch Control RPM Delta. It should be set to 2000RPM. If all you see is a black-filled window, STOP RIGHT THERE. You are using the wrong ROM.

Cheers,
shiv

Anyone else currently using these maps? I have a D00C rom, running the stage 1 currently, and I noticed that the idle targets seem to be a little low. Was this intentional? If I recall correctly, some of the older maps had slightly higher idle targets (750 RPM).

just change anything thats 650 to 700,
of if you want to go 750 change anything below 750 to 750

to smooth the idle further you can change the pi\di ratios to use full di at idle

see the tune tweaks thread link below or see wayno,s thread on adjusting tunes

@Shiv@Openflash; When you say the default data for Launch Control RPM Delta, do you mean the original ROM data or just that value in the Off-The-Shelf Tune? I ask because in my original ROM I see a black window, and a white window.

Still a little new to all of this. Finally found all the ROMS and the XML for my ecu code. The OFT didn't auto recognize and offer ROMs, but I am pretty certain I found the right folder from the OTS v2.070 download. I got a little mixed up looking in F when I wanted C because of F00C, but once I located the correct folder that was no big deal.

I couldn't help but notice that the XML for F00C is tagged RR not OFT, should I just not worry about this? I figure it's just kinda paying credit to RomRaider, but I had to ask.

Thanks in advance, I am sure you are busy. I just don't want to do anything without verifying I am doing the right thing.

Your stock rom will not have the lc\ffs software patch do not try to edit lc and ffs parameters on a stock rom it will have black boxs with no data if you edit that and flash it it likely you will brick you ecu.

Only edit lc\ffs parameters on oft tuned roms which have the patch and boxes in romraider are green.

See shiv post first one in this thread and read the Romraider tips link below

I plan to not use launch control. I was just trying to make certain that I had the right stage 2 ROM.

Edit: To clarify a bit more. I am not trying to edit the OEM ROM to get more power I was just trying to confirm that I was using the right ROM and cross referencing to the stock tune.

The oft reads in your stock rom so it knows your calid, it will not let you load any other calid than what your stock rom is.

So it sounds like the ROMs with a matching CALID in the 2.070 file should work and not brick my car? I just have to upload them to the OFT from OFM.

99.99% of issues are caused by incorrect editing of roms with romraider
