1.0 trd springs alignment specs?
I purchased some trd springs for my 2013 frs and wanted to get an allignment. I was wondering if the 1.0 with trd spring specs would work on my car. I want to lower my car on the springs without ruining that frs tail happy and easy to control flavor. :)
What must I do to align my car for my preferences? What should I tell the folks that'll align my car? And I also read that one of the forum members had gotten his aligned as soon as he got the springs installed, and unfortunately, the springs settled much lower after about 3 months... That said, what are those specs? And please, don't tell me to search for them. I'm not asking because I'm interested in using them, I'm attempting to offer the help you came here asking for. |
Alignment specs are what I'm looking for. so are you saying they haven't changed?

I take it you're looking for alignment specs? Reading between the lines here, and making some assumptions about your knowledge and the suspension setup you're aiming for, I'm going to say get the camber bolts, and use them to get as much negative camber as you can in the front. I'm guessing you'll max out somewhere between 1.5 and 2 deg. That's fine. Even from side to side is better than max on each side if there's a difference. (there normally is) You wont have any camber adjustment for the back, but the lowering springs should put you in a good place for rear camber anyway. If it's not even you can either get a set of rear lower control arms or a set of 12mm camber bolts and adjust the rear. Again, even amounts of camber side to side is most important. Your goal for the rear would be about 1.5 deg. For toe, I'd say go with the factory specs. |
