MT gear indicator

Dont know if this new or not, did a search and came up with nothing. This is for MT and it just tells you what gear you are in. I made a little video on how to turn it on and how it looks.

Well since we are talking about it right now, after the breaking in period what would be the sweet spot to set this too.

You mean the shift indicator? You can set it to what ever you feel is the best time to shift when you are pinning it. As you can see in the video I have it at 6k rpm, might move it to 6.5k rpm.

turned mine on today playing around. i guess its good for those brain fart moments when i forget to put it in first.

also turned on the shift light/beep and set to 4k rpm for the rest of my break in

It only shows up after engaging the clutch though, so if you leave it in neutral and forget to put it in first, you'd still be revving at the stoplight right? (Happened to me once :bonk:)

Except for reverse ( which is the only gear that gets indicated whenever you select it - even with the clutch pedal depressed) ... Very useful too.

Haha happened to me. Im guessing why it takes a sec to show the gear after the clutch is out id because I think the ecu us trying to calculate it.

Hey what does the little red triangle that pops up next to the get number mean?
