Thinking about lowering and camber adjustment, recommended shops in PDX?
So I'm thinking about having the car lowered a bit and getting the camber adjusted. Does anyone know a good shop in the PDX area?
Also - does anyone have any thoughts on doing this with the stock wheels and tires? I want to get that tougher stance, but I don't know much about how to get it. Spacers, camber adjustment and lowering right? Is there really no factory adjustment for the rear camber on the BRZ? Unless it's just a shame to do that with the stock wheels and tires. I wasn't going to buy new tires until they wear out, but I'd like to make what I have now look better. Finally, does lowering the car void the warranty? Thanks! |
You'll need springs or coilovers first, @DarrenDriven can help with that
As for camber there is no factory adjustment at all, you'll need bolts (or coilovers) up front and a lower control arm (simple solution) in the rear. I'll let other folks chime in on the visual aspects. Lowering the car can lead to the dealer denying warranty coverage on axles, but that is because lowering puts extra stress on the CV joints. |
Seen slammed cars on stock wheels. 2 guys I can think of right now are pretty low. But aren't on the forums. (Dillion and spencer)

Yesterday we installed some Stance Super Sport coilovers on @kevintran's 86. Pretty low on stock wheels...

Here he was back in May when he had his BC Coilovers dropped to max, with one of the collars removed to get even lower. This was ridiculous!
