FS - FA20 long block (knocking)

1 Attachment(s)
FA20 out of my 13 BRZ with 22,500km

Earlier in the year i had an over boost situation that caused the motor to knock. I picked up another long block and just swapped the motors. I intended to rebuild this one bit I've decided to stay with moderate power levels.

I have a video somewhere of the knock noise it was making prior to removal. There was no metal in the oil when I drained it. If I had to assume what was wrong I would say a bent rod, but I'm not guaranteeing that. This motor is being sold as is.

What you get:
Fuel injectors
Fuel ecu
Intake manifold
Alternator
Throttle body
Coils
Engine harness

What you don't get:
AC compressor
Starter
Manifold
Coolant lines running under the intake manifold (generic rubber hoses)

The motor is in Winnipeg right now but I work at a dealership and could arrange to have it shipped at my cost. I had trouble figuring out what this was worth, but ended up decided that I'm looking to get $2800cad plus shipping at my cost.

The core charges alone (block and heads) are $3500 U.S. (Almost 5k CAD) For a built motor. If you need any other additional parts (manifold, starter, etc) I have numerous spares and could include them at additional cost.

What kind of damage is done to it seeing you went for another block?

I'm guessing it's a bent rod, given how it happened.

I paid over 3k Canadian for a new long block

If this doesn't sell in the next day or two I'm going to strip it and part it out. The heads alone are worth what I'm selling the whole thing for
