Canadian's with Diode Dynamics Tails as turn module!!!
This only relates to any canadians that purchased Diode Dynamics Tails as Turn
Has anyone run into the issue with your signal lights not signaling while applying the brakes? im not sure if this has been an issue since i bought the module or if it happened over time but currently will not signal while i have the brakes applied. talked to Diode and they said it was only tested on USDM models so they are unsure about use on canadian vehicles. If this is not an ongoing issue for canadian vehicles i should be able to get a new one due to faulty unit instead of 'uncompatibilty' which is what they think could be the issue right now so please chime in fellow canadians:thanks: |
Well the leds are not double filament bulbs so I would take it as it's either brake or signal. I'm pretty sure your fr-s is US spec as well. I wanted to do this mod also so can members with the tap turn confirm that it's either brake or signal and not both.

No problems with mine yet and I've had it installed since last December

I don't think the Canadian models have different tail lights so it shouldn't make a difference. When you brake both tail lights should be on. If you signal while braking, only the one side will essentially flash (dim and bright). The other side will be full bright.
What is happening for you now? Are all of you signals not working. I couldnt tell from your post. If that's the case, you could have a faulty flasher module. |
Rear signal's are working, but when I brake they stop.as if I wasn't signalling at all even tho my front signal's are still flashing
