Transient Fueling ~ DI/PI
This is really more relevant go those who have changed port injectors, but I had a question/idea for those good with code.
ECUtek and Romraider show 2 transient fueling tables, they are both set the same. It would seem obvious that if you install larger port injectors that you would reduce the transient tables.... or would it? What happens when operating in DI only mode? Is this a further table that's not been located, one of the 2 tables already defined or is it not even relevant due to the instantaneous nature of direct injection? |
Tried to have a look, the overall fuelling code is actually quite complex and dependent on many, many byte value switches which have not been defined properly yet. Knowing which ones actually affect DI/PI/Combined/Idle/OL/limp home is going to take a long time to understand.
