Vortech on AT
Do you guys know if OFT supports the Vortech on the AT?
If so, do you know if I could hit 300whp on the standard pulley, or would I need to go one size smaller? Keep in mind this will be on E85. Thanks! |
no they don't

last page talks about vortech on a AT frs/brz. im guessing openflash didnt want to release the OFT300 tune to AT peeps probably due to possible issue with transmission shifting smoothness. it would be nice to use the OFT on vortech SC tho since you can monitor a lot of parameters using the tablet. if they decide to release it, i would switch back to OFT in a heartbeat. lol :sigh: |
Vortech on AT
It would be nice if they would have just stated this on their website and in the OFT300 thread that the OFT300 is not tuned for the automatic. Vortech does offer a tune with their kit for the automatic if you get the CARB kit with the ecutek tune. You'd just have to sell the OFT like so many are doing that have the automatic and want a supercharger.
Another option is the SBD turbo which they do have a tune for the automatic as well as the OFT350 package to upgrade the standard kit. |
Well that kind of stinks that there is no support for the AT. Shiv has apparently refused to answer any of my 3 PM's I've sent over the course of the last week or so as well. (Just wanted to know about the AT compatibility and power goals).
This just solidifies in my head how I'm going to sell the OFT and go Ecutek. I've had three other ecutek tuners respond within 24 hrs about questions I've had. I'm actually thinking hard about a speed density tune with the constant closed loop fuel correction. |
