I have done a little bit of search myself for coilovers that can be put back to stock ride height as i would need to for the winter. i realized as you that the fortune auto 500 even at full raised height are still lower then stock. all i found as of now is the RS-R i-sports or moto-specs coilovers. i would assume Ohlins would as they are not meant for slamming the car. maybe KW's as well.

Why are you looking at coilovers if you don't want it lower?
|
I have a set that has a range of +2" to - 2" in the front and +1" to -1" of adjustment in the rear depending on the spring rate.
|
I could verify that the Ohlins can go to stock height (and higher!)
|
feel like wasting money huh? i think bilstein b14 could go higher than stock, they dont advertise it tho

So the OP wants to remove the stock coilovers and replace them with after-market coilovers with the same height....
Might as well get the same spring rate and color too. Cuz Racecar! |

To get a softer ride you're going to need softer spring rates than stock, and custom valved shocks. You may find with soft enough rates to get the ride you want, you run out of bump travel on anything off the shelf as well. Even totally stock there is only 2.5" of bump travel, you'll want like 4" if you're going to soften the springs. Even the Bilstein coilovers with progressive springs are stiffer than stock. If you want to do it on less money, get the softest combination of stock springs (FRS front, BRZ rear) and custom valved koni or bilstein shocks. I doubt you'll see enough improvement to justify the cost of the shocks though. |
