Fog Light Removal/Replacement

Hey guys - So one of my fog light lenses broke the last time I had her at the track and instead of putting in a new one I have been thinking about removing both of them and making it look like the "premium" model.

Is that possible? Is it just a matter of ordering the OEM premium parts?

Thanks for any help.

I did think about that, but I am not at the point where I want to put them in yet, at least not until I put a BBK on her). Looking more for a temporary solution for now.

I found the part.... #21 on the diagram.

Can someone confirm that it's just a simple swap between that one and the limited w/ fog lights?

Yup i did this mod a couple months ago. each side is like $10 and takes like 30 min total to remove fogs and install these

Thanks. Glad to know it's only a 30 minute job. Anything I should look out for while doing it, or is it pretty simple?

just remove a couple screws from the fender liner so your able to pull it back enough to remove the 2 screws behind your DRL leds. Once those bolts are out you can pull out the DRL leds, fog lights and fog light housing. unplug the fogs. separate your DRL from the fog light housing. Then connect your DRL to your new housings. Install them back into your bumper, screw in those two bolts to the back of the DRLs, and then screw in the fender liner bolts.
now repeat on other side and your done.

Enjoy the clean look of a fog-less bumper

I've been considering this as well - thanks for the walkthrough!

Does the car throw a bulb light on the dash after removing the fogs?
