What model is yours? Zero problems with my 5th Gen Nano. Hooked right up with the USB cable. I didn't even need to use the Scoshe adapter I needed to use in the tC to get it to charge.

Have you tried updating the device?

I have no problem with an iPod Classic. According to the manual, for a 2nd gen touch you have to have iOS3.0 or above. You may want to check that.

My nano which hasn't connected to iTunes in close to 2 years connected right up.

Mr.Jay 06-14-2012 02:21 PM

Ahh my iOS right now not iOS3.0 cause I didn't want to pay for any of the update as well as lose all my music (original itunes I synced it too is on a dead computer)

Guess I will have to update the itouch and try again. Thanks guys.

has anybody tried it on an iPhone? I ask purely because I wonder if there's any static or anything when it's plugged in...

MVJ1975 06-14-2012 02:34 PM

I haven't, but I'll test it for you this evening with my iPhone 4. I've been wanting to try the Bluetooth audio function out.

I have an iphone 4S and the Bespoke unit, and I have no issues with audio playback. No whine, no distortion or static. You do need to be careful however, because the round port in the Bespoke aux jack is actually a video feed from the iphone to the bespoke unit, not an aux audio jack like most of them.

No worries with the standard head unit either, just tested it. BT audio is crisp and clear.

if you need a place to get the 3.x or above firmware(s) i can help with that. Constantly jailbreaking devices too so found a site :D but it will help save a few $$ and is official firmware :)

PM for site.
