switchback install

okay well i bought my FRS a month ago and it already had switchback's installed, well one decided to stop working so i need to take them out and just put the stock bulbs back in, the question is how to i get the LED's out? do i have to take off the whole bumper?

Turn your wheels the opposite way, take a few of the fender liner clips out and reach in.

1. Turn the wheel to the left or right depending on which side you're removing.
2. Remove the bottom three plastic screw retainers on fender liner.
3. Pull fender liner back.
4. Reach in and grab the bulb housing.
5. Twist to disconnect the bulb housing.
6. Remove bulb and replace.
7. Repeat steps in reverse.

Should take about 10 minutes tops.

If you haven't put the stock ones back yet, you should try just unplugging the LED for like a minute and then plug it back in and see if it works. Mine have stopped working a few different times, but when I unplug and then plug it back in, they start working again lol. Just a thought.

Typically that's a sign of a bad connection on the LED.

I few years back, I bought some cheapie LEDs from ebay, they would flicker after a while. I would have to push them back into the sockets and they would be good for a week or two. After that, I said screw it and put stock bulbs back in.
